French Day - 16th July 2026

We had a fantastique day today celebrating Bastille day. Every class visited Café Français and ordered croissants or pain au chocolat in French. We have played Boules, learned about the French Revolution, the origin and recipe for Madeleines, written our own French menus, made flags and recreated various famous French artists’ work, amongst many other activities! 

Special thanks to our wonderful waiters from Year 6: Wren, Luke, Minnie, Josh, Elsie and Ethan. Merci beaucoup also to Mrs Stainer Mrs Swift for le déjeuner délicieux!
