Anti-Bullying Week 2025

The whole school took part in Anti-Bullying Week, embracing the national
theme of “The Power of Good.” Every class got involved in meaningful activities
that highlighted how small positive actions can make a big difference.
Pupils explored real-life situations through role-play scenarios, helping them
recognise bullying behaviours and practise ways to support others with
confidence and empathy. Many thoughtful discussions followed, showing just
how seriously our children take the responsibility of being kind and respectful
members of our school community.
Classes also had great fun creating their own “recipes for kindness.” These
imaginative instructions included generous measures of friendship, a sprinkle of
courage, and a big helping of understanding—perfect reminders of the everyday
choices that help keep everyone safe and happy.
To round off the week, all KS2 pupils were invited to enter our Anti-Bullying
Poster Competition, designing powerful messages that encourage everyone to
stand up against bullying. We were so impressed by the creativity and
commitment shown in every entry.
A huge well done to all the children for their enthusiasm and thoughtful
participation. Together, they truly demonstrated the Power of Good.
