A Visit from a Pearly Queen!

We had a fabulous visit from two Pearly Queens of Clapton, sparkling from head to toe, who shared the colourful history of the Pearly Royal Family with us! They work incredibly hard to support underprivileged children across London and beyond, and they visited St Francis to ask for our help with their latest  fundraising mission.

Their charity campaign this year is called “Give a Gift for Christmas”, and they’re hoping to collect gifts and toys for children who will be spending Christmas in hospital, as well as for the brothers and sisters of those children, who are also going through a difficult time. Families on the neonatal ward at Broomfield Hospital, Chelsmford will be especially grateful for any kindness shared during this season.
